This garden is located at the southern end of the Nile Corniche (Aswan), and El Geneina contains paved paths along the eastern bank of the Nile, and El Geneina overlooks wonderful views of the West Bank and Elephantine Island. There are also huge boulders scattered throughout the garden, benches, trees (including local palm varieties), and tall decorative lamps.

Ferial Garden is characterized by the fact that from inside it anyone can watch the sunset until it sinks into the Nile River, which is considered a pleasure for every tourist who visits Aswan, as it includes granite terraces overlooking the most beautiful part of the Nile River in its dazzling blue color, and the design of the garden is unparalleled.

Ferial Garden, King Farouk’s gift to his eldest daughter on her birthday. The rocks in which they were located date back to the Roman era, and indeed some inscriptions were found on them.
In 1899, the Old Cataract Hotel was built, among the oldest hotels in Aswan, and it was next to it, so it was exploited due to its privileged location on the banks of the Nile, and the hotel guests enjoyed the view of the Nile from it daily, until 1942.
The history of the garden changed after King Farouk decided to dedicate it to his eldest daughter, Princess Ferial, during her birthday celebration, and since then it has been called Ferial Garden. The park also includes rare trees over 100 years old
